No. Most of the album is pretty atmospheric. The Panda Bear contribution is pretty huge in making it sound the way it does. That said, I LOVE the entire album. In general, Atlas sound is is a bit more of an atmospheric/ethereal project than Deerhunter, BUT I'd never wager that one would like one and not the other. I'm a big fan of both.

Thanks, good to know. One of my problems with Deerhunter is how spacey their songs are, so knowing that Atlas Sound is even further in that direction isn't promising. I did like the other song you posted though so I might give the full album a spin soon.

I never listened to the Atlas Sound since I've never cared for Deerhunter, but I really liked this song. Does the entire album sound like that, or is this one a bit different since Panda Bear is on it?

I liked Atlas Sounds but I feel I've heard this psychedelic Beach Boys thing quite a few times and this song didn't really stand out. I went with Hidden Place. I don't really love this song but I still find it quite unique and interesting.

i'm gonna go against the grain and say bjork without hesitation. walkabout has always sounded like tripe to me.

Another really tough matchup. Wouldn't mind seeing "Walkabout" move on (really love that sample of The Dovers), but have to go with "Hidden Place"
