If it had been ANYTHING other than this track, Danny wins with basically everything else he's ever done.

(I agree with the comment about Bon Iver being basically the most luke warm music ever made - the pinnacle of the woah-ie-oh movement, and the music scene I was once in basically everyone was trying to mimic this luke warm approach).

But alas I voted Bon Iver because this single track is pretty transcendental.

There's always time for sex and drugs. I guess that can be transcendental too... 🤣

Wow I am genuinely surprised Bon Iver won this round. It seemed like 30 was a lot of people's top Danny track!

Pretty much this, except that Elbow sounds more interesting than Bon Iver most of the time. Bon Iver is just there. They have some nice songs, but unfortunately Holocene is not one of them for me.

'Holocene' is a nice track, but '30' just feels far more vibrant & exciting and just really early Danny at his best.
