The album is currently credited to “Booker T. Jones & Booker T. And The M.G.’s”, but it should revert back to “Booker T. & The M.G.’s”.

The cover states “Music Scored By: Booker T. Jones” and “Performed By: Booker T. And The M.G.S”, but this just seems like a soundtrack album convention and not an indication of a different artist or that the group operated in a different manner.

I’d also argue that it should revert back to the same name for their other albums (with the ampersand). They’re a unique case in that if you look at all their album covers, you’ll notice the group’s name is spelled like eight different ways throughout their discography. It seems too fussy to single any one out.

Didn’t want to step on your toes, AM, since you made the change pretty recently, and I’m not sure how the site treats artists with empty discographies, anyway.
