I owned the vinyl with the spinning thing.

Wish I still did.

I purchased the vinyl of In Through The Out Door and back then they came in a plain paper bag.

Yes, Immigrant Song is great when you first hear it but lyrically it's nothing special.

Out On The Tiles is a good song.

But overall these 3 songs are better in every way I assure you.

Third greatest Zep album and a true gem. For a while this was somewhat of a hidden gem as I, II and IV got all the attention. II and IV are still slightly better album, but the slightness is so slight that it may depend on the mood of the day. Out on the Tiles is arguably the bands best tune and Immigrant Song is one of those little things that give you goose bumps.

Score: 4.10/5.00 (magnificent).
Rank: 43/944.

#12 - II
#15 - Houses Of The Holy

#19 - III

#22 - I

It's hard to pick a best song on III because they are all great songs.

I would say this one is my favorite 😁

This is the album that let you know that Led Zeppelin were true musicians. Strip away all of the reverb, fuzz, and volume...and you're left with this folksy, acoustic masterpiece. Sometimes, your head just needs to stop banging long enough to take in the beauty of an acoustic work.

I prefer this to their first two albums. Since I've Been Loving You and Tangerine are my favourites and also among my favourite LZ songs, along with the likes of When the Levee Breaks and Going to California (but behind Stairway to Heaven)
