So this really is a film. Its gets mentioned in an episode of my favorite TV show, but I only thought that it was just a made up movie name that the episode script/dialogue writers came up with for the characters to talk about. The season four episode of Perfect Strangers named Aliens is where the film is mentioned. Speaking of that show, my most favorite horror film is The Langoliers which stars the beautiful precious who gave us Balki from the Perfect Strangers show, I love actor Bronson Pinchot SO much!!! Right behind The Langoliers for me is a film named Come Back To Me which stars my second most favorite actor named Matt Passmore. 😄 😄 😄

Shelley Duvall felt miscast. My favorite is the remake of It. Nicholson's performance was flawless, but it takes something greater than perfection to pull off Pennywise. I also think that The Lighthouse is a better isolation-themed horror film.

It's a lot scarier than most horror movies I've seen. The horror suspense is built-up from the beginning. The real action doesn't even start for a while.

Think the general attitude is that Aliens is more of an action movie than horror. Great action movie though.

It's a disappointment Aliens isn't up here, just like the list on Movieforums, but It is the best fucking horror movie ever and I'm glad it's on the list. I'm also glad the number 1 movie isn't The Shining like it is on Movieforums or RYM. The movie is incredible, but it's not It or even The Green Mile.

I guess I got here a little late. I would have loved to join this party, especially since I just saw The Lighthouse.

Should also note the Oscars are REALLY early this year. I usually wait until post-Oscars, but it might even be a few weeks after 🤣

Not sure if mid-February's late enough for the streaming services to get as high number of 2019 films as they did 2018 films last year (Amazon Prime was so useful for me), but It'd be greedy and probably impractical of me to expect a longer viewing time for the decade poll AND the starting time I prefer for the 2019 one. Obviously, as the 2019 poll host, you have to do what you think is best for the polls and best for you.

Yeah, overall it's a much better list than the last. Feels a lot more well rounded.

Man, this is infinitely better than our previous list in every way. Amazing. Great blend of old and new. Not a bad movie here. Only a couple that wouldn't even make my top 250. Nothing weird about the order. Surprisingly high appearances by some great films that were very underrated (or not even listed) last time. Honestly, this is right up there with our silent film list for me as one of the absolute best looking lists we've made.

I'm sorry I shit the bed. Thanks a lot to PurpleHazel for putting in the work. Again, one day I might talk about the reason why I abandoned you guys. But to be honest, I've got to finish getting through it first. But don't worry about me. Worry about checking out whatever films on this list you haven't seen. Because holy cow. This might be the best horror list online.
