the point was to see the best Aussie album, so why excluding AC/DC or Avalanches.
harkan is already posting an australian album per day in the music forum for people who wants to discover some other stuff.
So let's do a real game with the big players .... meaning let Avalanches win this game 😁

Avalanches, Cut Copy, and Nick Cave aren't in the top 100... I'm sure High Voltage or something by AC/DC not in the top 100 would also kick out a bunch of lesser known, though deserving, Aussie albums.

If you do an album tournament maybe you should exclude any albums that are ranked in the top 100 albums on BEA.

That would eliminate albums like Back In Black That most people already are familiar with and would only just stomp their way through the tourney.

If the purpose is to explore great Aussie music then lets so do.

Yes it was so whatever wins here, I will run in the next few days.

Really I don't care if the predictions do come true, I just hope that some people will notice that Australia has created some great music over the years.

In saying that, maybe I need to put a restriction on no more than one/two albums per artist.

Okay, granted that some Aussie albums are lacklustre and pointless, but there has to be something else than Back In Black that people know.

I am getting to the stage of not running an Aussie tournament at all and I am concerned that a post-punk tourney would result in Joy Division again.

Even though the results swing to a Album Tourney, I might just simple go for the Wolf-like Album Game.

I think Purple has a point

I'm sure we all know more than just those albums, It's just that than are almost certainly going win

And Post punk will result definitely result in another JD win

Maybe jazz?
