2020s decade charts will start off contributing approx ~15% of total available decade points (~3 points), so we might expect small jumps in rank but nothing substantial (the available decade chart points increase to a maximum of 20 for charts published at the end of a decade).

2020s charts planned to be enabled on July 1st - at half year. (The last change of decade was before decade charts were added to BEA (2011), so this will be the first time this has happened).

Hey AM, (or whoever has the answer) question: when usually does the option to make decade charts open up for a new decade? After the second year ends - so like January 2022? I wasn’t here for the last decade switch over so was just curious.
