Many had the instinct to see Cut Copy through to the next round; The Moles seemed blind to it.

yeah, the Moles were fun to listen to, but they're not gonna compete with an album from my top 10

It's quite all right by me. You made it clear that this tournament was also a way of discovering Australian bands, which is why I suggested these and not just another Nick Cave album (and I love him), even though I knew Apartments and Moles were never going to win, not being popular enough. If there are, say, 2 people who discovered these two bands, my day's job is done 😄

I would agree with that. I have been listening to 'Instinct' all day as I wanted to give it a fair go against an album I know well and love. I have to say it is REALLY good!

Sod it - my vote goes to 'Instinct'!

There was no way I was ever voting against In Ghost Colours but I'll give The Moles a fair go because otherwise Norman will complain about the kids only caring about contemparay music 😉

I love 'In Ghost Colours' and I am inclined to vote for that.

I don't really know 'Instinct' and I want to give it a fair crack of the whip, so will give it a good listening to before I cast my vote.

Hard draw for one of my favs again. If Harkan's extracts from Instinct please one person around here, check out Richard Davies' solo albums, mainly his first, There's Never Been A Crowd Like This, and Cardinal's Cardinal (Cardinal is Richard Davies plus Eric Matthews). Great pop albums.
