                          Personally I have nothing against compilation albums but admit there is a bias against same by most recognized charts.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I could go along with your suggestion of a separate compilation chart.  I wouldn't limit it however to pre 1963 for rock, pre 1955 for jazz, or pre 1949 for classical.  While I recognize that long playing albums were not readily available before those dates, if a compilation (greatest/best of/anthology) is great why limit its inclusion based upon recording date?</description>

                          I think their should be a seperate chart for compilation albums for any artists who were not active before 1963. I include Elvis's Sun Records and when the list gets big enough I will be including Chuck Berry's The Great 28.  A thematic various artist comp such as Nuggets should qualify but some of these I'm seeing? Gimme a Break.</description>
