Dope tournament. Love seeing Lenker win, her whole album was truly incredible.

Yeah the results were mostly what I expected although shocked Wet Leg actually had so many fans. I fully expected Ka to be a lock for the final three going into this tournament knowing most here (including myself) are big fans. Like I Used To is a great track so not upset it beat out Ka and achieved second.

As always I have fun during these tournaments. Cant wait for whatever the next one will be.

Yeah, I think the voting swayed more towards indie rock types and there was probably a bit less support for hip hop than in previous tournaments. With this in mind, it’s surprising though that “I know the end” didn’t win. It’s even a weaker track than “Chaise Longue” according to the results. Fair enough, but really not what I expected.

Neat result. Cool with the standings.

Kinda interesting how the top three are all under this sorta blanket genre (ish). I'm happy with Anything coming out on top. Feels like Broken Social Scene at their peak.

The finals and 3rd place match are up. It's possible I'll leave them open for 7 days since I'm travelling, more info on that in the coming days. I don't think it makes a lot of difference either way. Great tourney, perhaps a predictable final round (except for Chaise Longue), but I don't mind it, every song has its merits. Let the best indie song win.

Edit: it'll be 7+ days, I'm back home Sunday evening. Y'all got almost 4 more days to vote.

Ok the round is closed except for the 1 tie. Like I Used To vs Sins of the Father, what a powerhouse of a match. 32 hours to get the deciding vote, the semis start after that.

Thanks! Appreciate your and Travelful's kind words. I'm also not sure which song'll end up winning, but I have a feeling Like I Used To is the crowd favourite. Wouldn't mind it winning tbh.

But especially Repo and EyeKanFly who still have 2 songs left. They are facing each other though, so they won't have 2 nominees in the quarterfinals.

Edit: Desole vs Physical was decided in less than an hour, so Round 3 is up now. Y'all have 6 days to vote, since it's 16 songs and not 32. I'll post a reminder at least 24 hours before closing.
