Death Cab was in love with dying, and they were doing it in Bellingham. Or rather this match.

I'm partial to Death Cab For Cutie, so I think I'll abstain.

Was really hoping that Death Cab decided to cover Butthole Surfers...

Always gonna have a soft spot for death cab, def an important band for me at one point. Glad to know that they're still doing their thing, even if their thing isn't so much my thing anymore.

I don't really know what "my thing" is these days to be perfectly honest, but I can confidently say Hatis Noit falls wholly within it. Incredibly powerful track

Yeah— I'm not sure if there's much BEA love for Hatis Noit's latest apart from us, but it's easily one of the best albums of 2023. I had a hard time picking a #1 for the year, but there's a good chance it's it. Unbelievable stuff.

To clarify the image I posted indicating my vote— it's a work by Inuk printmaker Tivi Etok, depicting a speared whale, which, in turn, is a reference to a recent BEA thread.
