I'm half anglo-indian, so that half of my family is positively obsessed with Russell Peters. and yeah he is pretty funny.

He just broke big records in the UK, Australia and the States. He's alright, up here in Canada WE'VE known about him for about a decade, so I guess it's time we shared him a little...

Do we Canadians have, like, some grand world domination scheme I haven't been told about?

I mean, a couple of this year's most prolific acting heart-throbs were Ryan Gosling and Ryan Reynolds - both Canadian.
The world's biggest comic right now is Russel Peters - Canadian.
We just took the big Oscar last year with our Arcade Fire, and more and more films are being shot north of the border instead of in LA, so we've been pretty much soaking up all of Hollywood's business.
Plus there's that whole Justin Bieber thing, and Drake is really big right now, too.
We also apparently have the best weed in the world now (not that I'd know or anything...).

And, I mean, for a country with about an eight of the population of the States, we're doing pretty good.

Wtf is going on here?
