Thank you. The video is talking about The Captain and Tenille version of "Muskrat Love'. They mentioned it was released first by America, but that version failed to hit #1. These songs were all #1 hits and it was The Captain & Tenille's version that hit #1.

My Ding-A-Ling is an awful song. Seasons In The Sun and Escape (The Pina Colada Song) are both the bad kind of cheesy, although I can see the appeal to some extent. I can't recall hearing any of the others, which I'm guessing is a blessing.

America's version of Muskrat Love is the worst song on this great compilation:

Yes, that's fine to know what you're listening to and what you like about it. But as I said, I don't agree with all of these. Just because the person who made the video doesn't like all of these doesn't mean anyone has to agree. I agree with some and disagree with others. I just wanted to know what others thought.

You asked. I answered. Videos like this are garbage clickbait, and it's kind of embarrassing that someone posted this here. And BEA has never really been about "I hate this music and I hate that music". This is a place for discovering good music. Wouldn't you agree with that?

OK, sorry. I didn't think there was anything wrong with asking others their opinions on those songs. When I discuss music, I usually talk about both what I like, and what I don't like.
