I had never seen this cover until it was highlighted in one of the jazz threads. This must qualify as a bad album cover

Besides, that album shouldn't even be listed on BEA - it's a quick repackage of this earlier collection that uses the same AI artwork, it exists only for Spotify, and while Michael Marc himself appears to be a real person and a decent flamenco guitarist, the backing tracks are probably AI-generated too (or else taken from a MIDI-file karaoke collection). Romanelli here is right, though. There's nothing "bad" about this album cover at all, aesthetically, and aside from the fact that this is really a stupid thread that should be deleted, there are plenty of album covers listed on BEA that are genuinely bad, because the recording artists wanted them to be. Just look at the Impaled discography sometime - that'll knock some sense into y'all, and there are dozens of others besides them.

That's actually a good catch. Not sure what this guy is trying to pull...his own Spotify account (more proof that Spotify is truly awful) has the same identical album with releases in both 2022 and 2025, meaning that he is getting exposure for the same music at least twice. Looks like the same scam on Apple Music. He then has the same album for sale (as a download only) on his own website...with a different title (The Night Has A Thousand Eyes) and no date of release. This title exists absolutely nowhere else.

Submitting to see if it actually qualifies to be on BEA.

And yeah...threads like this one are no bueno.

Good spot by MJ & apologies for not seeing this thread earlier (thanks to Romanelli for heads up). Agree this album is suspect for reasons described (these types of release, unfortunately, are going to be a growing problem).

Well, I didn't know any of this. I just saw it among the new releases on Spotify and then found it on Apple Music and thought I'd add it here. As for this thread, it's not my favorite. I only started it because I thought some of the ones I saw were laugh out loud funny. I'd much rather have my ballads thread back or the put your music player on shuffle thread back than have this one.

It's ugly. There's nothing pretty about it. It shows half of a distorted looking face and some round things. Not my idea of art. I just find nothing appealing about this style.
