Was initially under the impression that this was some sort of dance cover, but it's basically the same song just a bit more upbeat in the midsection.

Nicki French is still going and churning out music, though this was her only real success.

Just bonkers, absolutely bonkers, that said, I kinda love it?

Basically a one hit wonder from Swedish Eurodance meets country group Rednex, from the north of Sweden in Lapland of all places.

Despite being a one hit wonder they have an extensive history on Wikipedia.

This was their debut single off their debut album, and it became a huge novelty hit and number 1 across Europe, I get way too into this type of nonsense.

This is an interesting, it was originally released by Pigbag in 81, then this version by Perfecto Allstarz had some decent success in the 90's.

Perfecto Allstarz actually being Paul Oakenfold.

I'm a fan of this as a darts anthems (I love my darts), with former World Champion Adrian Lewis walking out to this, hits the right nostalgia spots for me.

N-Trance - Set You Free (Original Radio Edit)

N-Trance are an English rave band from Oldham, still going by all accounts, though now a one man show, with 3 albums, 2 in the 90's and one in the late 00's.

This still gets a load of playtime interestingly, real old school 90's dance-pop, still has over a million monthly listeners.

This was on their debut album (the artwork has not aged well...), was recorded in 92 and even rereleased a few times in the earlier years.

A real club hit, I like it.

Clock were another Eurodance 90's group, active from 93-99, most of their success came from remixes and this is one of the first successes they had, appearing on their debut album.

A bit different from other Eurodance groups I feel, coming out of Manchester, there's definitely a different style to them.

I'd probably find it more effective away from a well beloved track like this I feel, and think it could work better in it's own sense.

Best known member Stu Allan was well known in the rave scene and passed in 2022 at the age of 60.

Corona is back and this is another Eurodance hitter, this is quite catchy alright.

Interestingly, this was the second single off the album off The Rhythm of the Night album, following up the title track, only it didn't get released as a single until Feb 1995, 13 months after the first single (the remaining singles would all come out in 1995).

Lee Marrow, despite the name, is a guise of one of the Italian producers, Bontempi.

A fun time alright, but not on the same level as the Rhythm of the Night.

Active from 1994-2004, Tin Tin Out were a dance duo from London who put out 2 albums, none with massive success, but solid.

This is a song written way back by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, it first charted for Lou Johnson in 64.

This is a cover, but obviously given the times it's essentially a whole new track, with Espiritu on vocals (French singer Vanessa Quinones).

I like some version of this track but it does become repetitive in parts this time around, overall a middle of the list track.

Baffled to find this as a 90's song as I feel it's still doing the rounds of late in different forms.

Even Nightcrawlers still have over 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, which seems mad for a group who had one album in the mid 90's.

It's really quite catchy, like acid jazz styled house.

Nightcrawlers were British/American house group who ended upon the death of John Reid, founder, just last year.

This was their big hit really in the 90's off their 1 album, Lets Push It, though they had further success in 2021 with Friday.
