Very little difference in the enjoyment levels of the 2, so make what you want of that, it's still a solid tune.

The lead single off Cher's 21st studio album (she really churned them out), It's A Man's World in 1995.

Tina Turner the perfect choice here, for Pierce Brosnan's Bond debut, the first Irish Bond, also a kickass N64 game, Goldeneye's one of my favourite Bond's, have I mentioned I'm a Bond fan yet? No?

Yeah, the 3rd Bond song here, and it cracks the top 100, of course.

U2 recorded this for the Batman Forever soundtrack, certainly not their finest work, like it's not bad, but Bono was definitely starting to show signs of going Bono at this stage (and I say this as an Irishman who gives U2 and their newer stuff quite a lot of leeway compared to others I know).

There's still aspects of it I like, but I feel like it could have done more, despite being still pretty solid, U2 being in their Zooropa phase here which can go very different ways for a lot of people.

Man, the 90's were mad.

Simply Red - Fairground (Single Edit)

Fairground is one that does the rounds a bit, but one where I regularly forget the name, it's a good blue-eyed soul song in Hucknall and Simply Red's traditional style.

I like it for sure, the lead single off their 5th album, Life, and their biggest hit of the 90's and possibly their last serious big hit, peaking at number 1 in several countries.

I definitely have a soft spot for them.

It's very much Meat Loaf alright, similar to a lot of his earlier work, with Patti Russo joining on vocals this time.

Not sure it holds up as strong as some of his earlier hits, but the vibes are still there.

This was the lead single off his 7th album, Welcome to the Neighbourhood, the 1995 follow up to Bat Out of Hell II.

Decent enough, if not his strongest, a real throwback start to NOW 32.

This was originally done by the The Cross, a side project of Roger Taylor.

Freddie Mercury had originally done the vocals on this back in 1987, before the rest of the band reworked everything around the song, the opening single off Made In Heaven.

Not a fan of the whole thing really.

Producer Jake Williams is back for a second time, following up You Belong To Me, with this, Son Of A Gun, which was initially his first single, but was re-released after You Belong To Me.

Nothing spectacular, hints of Eurodance and trance in there, but it's definitely my favourite of the 2.

Finishing NOW 31 today so you're really into the latter stages of the album in case it hasn't been obvious.

How you find where to properly rank all of these is impressive. I would spend far too much time once I got 1000 songs deep parsing each ranking.

Love City Groove - Love City Groove

A short lived group, Love City Groove represented the UK in the 1995 Eurovision with this, a self titled track, and finished a reasonable 10, the Eurovision hadn't gone fully unhinged at this point.

It's pop meets R&B, fast becoming a standard 90's staple in the UK at this point.

The group formed in 1994 and broke up in 1996, this being by far the only memory people have of them.

Not bad though.

For the uninitiated, PJ & Duncan are a duo from Newcastle, better known by their reals now, Ant & Dec, known in the UK for hosting a wide variety of tv shows these days.

They started out as the characters PJ & Duncan in the UK teen soap thing, Byker Grove, which is where this all stems from.

That gave way to this pop career, they 3 albums, this being the lead single off the second of them, I mean I know it's not great, but I like it from a silly 90's nostalgia perspective.

Now, if this was their big hit, Let's Get Ready To Rhumble, off their debut album, that would be going straight into the top 10.

Bobby Brown - Humpin' Around (K Klassik Radio Mix)

Originally the lead single off Bobby Brown's 3rd album, Bobby, this came back into the spotlight 3 years after it's original release in 1992, with this remix by K-Klass, an electronic group from Wrexham in Wales, and often based over the border in Manchester.

I can see this being a good club hit at the time, doesn't hold up as much for nowadays but there's a solid 90's club pop vibe in there.

Not a bad take on Bobby Brown's work and moving away from the classic new jack swing style into this.

Sounds like a turn of the millennium boyband at times.

Clock's direct follow up to their Axel F remix, off the same album, this hasn't really captured my attention as I hoped.

Another 90's dance staple, Livin' Joy were Italian brothers, fronted by American singer Janice Robinson, who would go on to enter the X Factor in 2018 interestingly.

This was their only real hit off their debut album, and has had some re-releases that keep it going even to this day.
