One day, I wish that all Radiohead albums will be treated as individuals and most importantly... equal. I wish that a Radiohead album will be able to go to the bus stop, without the threat of being harassed by gawking earholes wanting a bit snyth. I wish for a world where a Radiohead album doesn't get passed up for an interview because they are too "electronic". A world where no Radiohead albums are left on the streets after being disowned because of one... just one... song choice. A world without the unwanted pressure that comes with being considered the very best and the paranoia that follows it. A world where every Radiohead album is equal.

YOU HEAR ME!?

A world where all Radiohead albums are free.

Will this dream be realized in my time? My time on this pale blue dot ricocheting on an apathetic starbeam? Will my children be able to go to school and talk to any Radiohead album they wanted without... and I stress without a fear some lead laden button basher is going to ridicule them? Will they be allowed to sleep with any Radiohead album they wanted? Will this dream see the light on some glorious far off day?

I'll tell you...

Only through working together will we see this day... only if we pave the way through this brown mire of debauchery, TOGETHER, will we reach this land of righteousness. We will stand TOGETHER! We will fight TOGETHER! Until that great day will come where no Radiohead album will be considered superior to another. Where every Radiohead album will look upon each other... and will be looked upon by the listeners... and will be looked upon by whatever cosmic creators sit above us...

Will it be 2012? Will it be 2013? Will it be etched on the astro calendar and announced over the floating cities in 2045?

I don't know...

But what I do know is this: I will fight for this day until my arms fall off, my heart stops cold and every muscle in my body is processed into Haribo sweets.

This is probably my all-time favourite Radiohead album. I should probably switch out The Bends for it on my chart...

Yes! �'� I love this track. Love this album. Not the most uplifting of experiences, but it contains some of Radiohead's most musically interesting moments. I love the spazz-out ending to Sit Down Stand Up.

Best tracks: "Where I End and You Begin", "The Gloaming", "A Punchup at a Wedding", "2 + 2 = 5", "Sail to the Moon".

haha my first thought when logging on today.

I could never get into this one as fully as the 4 preceding it. Just a few too many songs I can do without. That being said, Go To Sleep has always been one of my favorite Radiohead songs. Love on first listen.

First Radiohead album I bought and thrashed for a good month.

Sail To The Moon, A Punchup At A Wedding and Myxomatosis are all amazing and I really find this to be a coherent move from Amnesiac towards Yorke's The Eraser and then to In Rainbows. A truly great album but could be underestimated by many.

The Radiohead album I had the most trouble getting into and the one that I still like the least (OK maybe I put it above Pablo Honey, but I like both about the same.. for different reasons)
There's just too many songs here that I don't really care for.. On the other hand, there are some great ones as well and A Wolf at the Door is one of my favourite Radiohead songs (and thus one of my favourite songs ever). There There is also fantastic.

This album has Radiohead´s most underrated song on it: "I will".
There is another version of it though that´s even better.
Not the LA version, a third one...

Besides "I will", "2+2=5" is the standout track for me.

A very good record. "There There" is obviously the highlight, but on the whole, it's solid work, both innovative and cashing in on classic structures. Nice job. If you like this, listen to Lali Puna, the band which Yorke admlitted was his big influence at the time. Try Scary World Theory first.
