I can't exactly remember which albums from which charts, but I found these albums from this site:

The Feelies-Crazy Rhythms
The Beta Band- The Three E.Ps
Nico-The Marble Index & Desertshore( I heard Chelsea Girl but nothing else)
Matana Roberts- Coin Coin Chapter One
Fela Kuti- Zombie

I also gave Joanna Newsom a second chance after this site and now I love her work.

Since I Left You, Talk Talk's two albums (not direct recommendations but I think he was the one who praised these albums the most) and running the electronic albums tournament, where I discovered some great albums. Thanks to whoever it was that nominated Broadcast's Haha Sound, the two albums by Boards of Canada, and probably some more, that I can't remember now.
Thanks to Jhereko (and everyone else who followed after him) for Cut Copy's In Ghost Colours

Also, when I started to get more into music about three years ago, the BEA Overall chart was one of my main sources for discovering great albums

ITAOTS - Neutral Milk Hotel (everyone)
Yoshimi - Flaming Lips (I think jackwc love and Pam hate)
Astral Weeks - Van Morrison (cant remember)
And my biggest Thanks BEA! is for that someone -i cant remember who- who once posted a NeedleDrop video link in a Topic about sellout stuff i think , Love that guy.

Thanks to NowhereMan I discovered Electric Light Orchestra which have made the fantastic album called Time.

And BEA made me listen to OK Computer again, since it's ranked as the best album.

I don't think I got any in particular from users, but from the BEA top 100 off the top of my head I got A Love Supreme, Highway 61 Revisited In Rainbows and MBDTF to name a few.
