I can, actually. Regardless of what you think of the band, surely you realize that even "shitty" albums range from "total shit" to "almost mediocre shit". Admittedly, East Jesus Nowhere is probably my favorite Green Day song (well...next to Holiday, I'd say), but the rest of it I'm sad to say pretty much was that bad. In my opinion 😜

You guys can hate on Green Day all you want...fact is Dookie was one of the definitive, biggest, and best albums of the 90's. I also happen to like American Idiot but it's not on the same level as Dookie for me. That album had such a refreshing sound when it came out, and it's been heavily imitated ever since.

More than one Green Day record in top 10 is too much. "American Idiot" is soooo overrated, probably the worst Green Day record. Dookie, Nimrod, Warning and maybe even the last one of theirs are better records than that one.

Green day aren't that awesome but this chart is.
And about kind of blue, I haven't listened to that much jazz albums but it's definitely my favorite too (if gets/gilberto is excluded)

Agreed. In a Silent Way, for one, was a better record. So were Coltrane's Blue Train and Giant Steps (A Love Supreme, I believe, is just about on par with Kind of Blue). Then there is Mingus Ah Um, and Out to Lunch.

But imagine a chart packed with jazz albums entirely, except for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band because it's a "classic rock album". I believe that many people just stay with Kind of Blue and don't discover the world of jazz further.
