Personally, I think the problem is people took Obama too seriously, and NOW look where he is.

And you young 'uns will be paying a LOT of your incomes (if you have any - I don't know, maybe your plans are to become deadbeats 😉 ) for his "new America", let me tell you. My only regret is, so will I. And I'm not in favor of any of it.

Well, we could save this for the political forum...but I just want to say that no, we won't be paying a huge amount of our incomes for anything Obama wants to do. I doubt I'm gonna be making over 250k a year, so I won't have to pay that much more to the g'ment. And either way, even if Americans do have to pay more, its their own fault for the past 8 years. If you have a better way to pay for our problems, please enlighten me.

Some serious points made here... but hey, at least it's nice at the end of the day, to take time to forget about all that, relax, if only for a few minutes or hours, and sit down with a wonderful new album by a fresh and innovative band and explore new possibilites in music.

Some say we will never see the likes of many of the bands featured on this site, and the works they create again... well we won't unless Simon Cowell ceases and desists, and allow the beautiful diversity of music to flourish once again in mainstream media.

I've been watching Fox for the past year or so intermitently for the election coverage, from my cloistered little home here in good old blighty, just before I turn over and watch the news! (har har)

I have to say it's the only thing that worries me more than a new video from Osama bin liner!

The only things that the outside world percieves about any given nation and therefore judge it on (even erroniously) are those that represent it in office, and whatever cultural material it broadcasts... Using that formula you'd have to say that Fox is among the greatest threats to American National security, and not those they cajole and goad with their passive agressive tactics designed to provoke a hysterical response from those they disagree with in order to cast them in the worst possible light.

mind you, I don't think that any country comes off too well under those conditions, after all, England gives the world Gordon (the invisible man) Brown and Simon Cowell... DOH! the shame.

But Cowell is intent on killing all variety and diversity in music, as bad a crime as I can think of.
