OK COMPUTER(1997)
airbag/paranoid android/subterranean homesick alien/exit music (for a film)/let down/karma police/ fitter happier/electioneering/climbing up the walls/no surprises/lucky/the tourist

I really like OK COMPUTER,
but is it the greatest album?

Music is a personal thing and for many this album is the greatest.
Why one album becomes more cherished over another is as varied as people are.
I don't knock anyone for their choices...
but for me OK COMPUTER is exactly that ...it's okay....

Well it's not my favourite ever album but I don't begrudge it's position at the top. It's a cracking album with virtually no weak points and boasts one of THE best songs ever made in Karma Police, which is epic.

It'd be in my top 10 if only for my rule of selecting just one album per artist.

It's a great album.

Some people overrate it. Others get angry at people for overrating it, and they in turn underrate it.

Just how it all is.

Agree with Applerill, its just that some of their songs are just too good, Let Down, Paranoid Android, Karma Police, Exit music and no surprises in just one album is just absurd, it should be illegal, those are so good that Radiohead could have put each of em in a different album and the whole album would be awesome as hell. Anyway, ok computer is incredible but a little bit overrated, i like In Rainbows better, best album ever for me but thats jsut me.

Most who have been around a while or two know what I think of Radiohead. I just have to throw in here though that I do think Paranoid Android is a good song. The guitars are probably a large contributor to that.

Nope, just individual parts, along with the mixing and miscellaneous post-production.

No computer is awesome enough to handle Johnny Greenwood's guitar solo in "Paranoid Android" alone.
