Thankfully the Spice Girls are long gone and have instead been replaced by one of my favorite bands. Ever since this song was released a couple days ago it hasn't left my head. So catchy.

For some reason, Minnie Riperton's "Memory lane"...I don't have any of her albums or singles...wasn't a big fan...but woke up with that song in my head and it won't leave.

Thanks to the February Song Rating Extravaganza, I had Boy With the Arab Strap in my head. But now I have Spice Girls. Awesome. 🤡

It's a form of group torture widely practised in Australia, New Zealand and United Kingdom.. 😄

Nah seriously - it's a bit like Basketball in that there is a hoop (but without the back board), but you can't bounce the ball and run with it. You can't touch your opponent (well not really) you can't hold the ball for more than a couple of seconds and you can't move your feet much once you have caught the ball. The aim is to score as many hoops as you can. The rules for indoor netball (which I play) are a little different from standard netball.

This thread is kind of a disappointment to me...I was hoping for horror stories. Usually, when people have songs stuck in their heads, they are complete earworms...songs that get stuck and you can't get rid of them, not good songs that you're happy to have inside your brain. Songs that are annoyingly catchy and stupid ("Do you like pina colada's?"), or just a single line that makes you want to kill ("Pa-pa-pa poker face my pa-poker face"). A song stuck inside your head usually isn't a favorite, it's Fergie blathering on and on about her stupid humps. It's Britney Spears asking over and over if I know that I'm toxic, or Hennifer Lopez endlessly reminding me of just how street she is cause she's from the block.

It's that song that you don't want to hear, but it's playing at the supermarket. Or someone has it blasting from their car speakers. It's not The White Stripes or Bon Iver or anything you ever are glad to have stuck up in there...it's Sheena Easton or Miami Sound Machine or "Cherry Pie" by Warrant or something so annoying that you may actually try to dig it out with a pencil.
