That's not...quite accurate. It was mostly just that the site stopped being fun for me. I needed to take a deep breath and back away for a little while.

(Legitimately though, it's weirdly moving to see a thread dedicated to your absence. I had no idea this many people cared about what I had to say about stuff)

Thanks, but I've been a bit more scarce and will probably continue to be, because I'm kind of busy with work and things these days. I still visit the site often and when I see a thread that intrigues me, or a comment I have to respond to, I will when I find the time.

I like 40 Foot Wolf too. He's outspoken and just tells it like he sees it. He doesn't finesse his opinions, and doesn't care whether you agree with him or not. Yet, he manages to be blunt without being overly abrasive or insulting. Many of his posts are also funny. 🤣 I appreciate all of those qualities. I'm sure he's not gone for good though. Everyone needs a break from here from time to time.
