Funeral - Arcade Fire (I just need some Arcade Fire in my system. Maybe The Suburbs instead, Idk)
L'Absente - Yann Tiersen (For my moments of profound thoughts about life and bla bla)
Graceland - Paul Simon (It fits the island and i love it)
Forrest Gump Ost - Various Artists (To have some good quality "shuffle" on the island)

1.Exile In Guyville-Liz Phair
2.Music Has The Right To Children-Boards Of Canada
3.My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy-Kanye West
4.Fearless-Taylor Swift
5.Achtung Baby-U2

The above albums would give me a memory of the best of each genre. All of the joy, all of the heartaches, all of the human spirit would be there for me on the desert island.

My 5 Songs:
1.Sympathy For The Devil-The Rolling Stones
2.Let Down-Radiohead
3.Rime Of The Ancient Mariner-Iron Maiden
4.Champion-Kanye West
5.Jesus Of Suburbia-Green Day

Just to give me my pop thrills, these songs are just about the most uplifting songs I can think of.

I am alone on a desert island so I can sing a long as loud as I like and noone will mind
'The La's' - The La's
No matter how many times I listen to it, it never ever bores me
'The Banana Album' - VU & Nico
Pretty much for the same reason as above..

And because I am not doing singles I will take another album instead 😁

Well the criteria I've set for my list is this:

"This is a list of the albums which mean the most to me, not necessarily of how 'good' they are. The higher they are the harder it is to imagine living without them."

So it's hard not to just pick my top 5:

The Streets - Original Pirate Material
The Smiths - The Smiths
Nas - Illmatic
The Libertines - Up The Bracket
The Prodigy - The Fat Of The Land

Although to be honest I could easily swap in any of the top 10 or even 15.

As for songs, well that's a lot harder, I'll go for these:

Dire Straits - Sultans Of Swing
Sonic Youth - Teenage Riot
David Bowie - Cygnet Committee
The Stooges - I Wanna Be Your Dog
Joy Division - New Dawn Fades

This would be likely to change though, I can just imagine myself on the island bored as f*** and wondering why on earth I hadn't picked x, y or z. Anyway they're my top 5, for today.
