I'm not a huge fan of the banana one, but Z is really lame. It seems like people are hating too much on the banana and not even looking at its competition 😕

I don't hate the Banana as much as I hate the idea of pop art, and the Banana is more or less the flagship of pop art, so yeah

For me, it's not that it isn't good artwork, it's just... it's a banana. whoop de doo. The other album cover has a bigger story to tell, for me, so that's why I prefer it. I also think it is more esthetically pleasing.

I dunno, I'm not an Andy Warhol fan by any means but I've always loved the banana cover. I remember seeing it as a kid and wondering what the music sounded like.

I remember a few years back someone mentioned that they had bought an MMJ album solely because of the cover, even though it was not a genre they usually enjoyed. I checked it out because I'd never heard of the band. Liked the cover, didn't really care for the music. There might be one or two songs by them I enjoy, but I'll agree that they make interesting album covers.
