Yeah, both Jesus Use Me and that Handless Organist one were much better than this particular cover. And funnier.

EDIT: I studied the other cover closer, and then decided that I liked London Calling better.

You're right, maybe I went to far this time, in what appears to be my personal vendetta against the most popular album covers.

The Clash is pretty good actually, and outlaws background story does make me like it more.
I regret not voting for it, but it doesn't matter really, it's winning big time anyway of course.

London Calling is a worthy candidate to win the whole thing. It's an awesome cover.

The crowd was being all apathetic in that gig. They were not singing along and annoying the band because of it. In a fit of rage (and to get a reaction) Paul Simon bashed his guitar onto the stage. That way they might pay some attention. Anyway, photographer got it just at the right moment.

That is what makes an iconic album cover.
