Orange has been proven in a lot of studies to be the best converting colour for these buttons (which is why Amazon use it). Anyway, our designer is doing a site review, so they may change again in a couple of weeks.

Your too kind, really. Smaller, color coordinated links would have been just as good and would not curtail the revenues as much.

We've now added an option to your member profile where you can choose to show/hide the sponsored links (which help to fund the costs of running this website).

If you choose to hide the links, the only place that they will show is on your wish list (because they should be useful there).

I hope that is a satisfactory response to some people here.

Apologies, that came across wrong. We haven't just asked him to update one button (that would be daft!), the change is part of a wider scope of work to freshen things up a bit.

EDIT: I've softened the colour a little and made less bright. Press CTRL+F5 if the current colour offends you.

Yes it does cost; thanks for your efforts. You can change the color of the icon by adjusting its hue in a freeware program like paint.NET.

I find the Buy Now links helpful for pricing and for sampling the tunes. They are just a bit garish.

There are now less 'buy' links than before the update! There used to be separate iTunes and Amazon buttons (two links) for each chart entry and now there is only one. The site has to cover its hosting expenses, otherwise it won't exist. Almost every other site on the web has advertising to keep it alive and a lot of sites have far more advertising than BEA.

Could the Buy Now hyperlink be a little less garish? Takes away from the JPEG album cover image and kills the look of the charts. Perhaps smaller and blue/gray color.
