Brandon... My favorite in here, the magic card of the morning, a pretty great user, always here, with a lot of charisma and energy, and a beautiful chart.... wow what a chart. I could also vote in nezzle, most of because his contributions and posts here on the site ( by the way I miss those funny notes on your chart)... But for me Brandon. Dammit that was hard.... maybe

Both of them seem to have this impeccable sense of respect among the community. Maybe too perfect, perhaps. Anyway, while lethal may be king, Brandon is just a god, in my eyes. what are these metaphors i'm a pacifist and shouldnt care about these issues and get into too much conflict and drama.

a really fascinating first-round thriller. Brandon is the definition of BEA's sunny-side up: seemingly untouched by the twin evils of cynicism and snarky irony, he's got this eager, I'll-try-anything approach to everything on BEA that is both fresh air and kind of sadly poignant (that sounds weird, sorry. Like the far more intelligent inverse of Cat Valentine, BEA's sunniest personality and the kind of whimsical, childlike worldview is not something to condescend to or dismiss.

Lethal rejoined BEA around the time I started, and it felt so impossible to imagine a BEA without him that it led to one of those "where am I" ponderings when he (momentarily) left. I certainly wouldn't call him a loose cannon, but he has this hahahahaLETHAL mix of both always-ready-to-battle fearlessness that's tempered with the incredibly sharp sense of someone who always knows his stuff. His many writings of music are fantastic (blunt but layered and incredibly articulate), though his greatest strength on BEA may be what gains him the most detractors, in the ability to cut the arrogant, ignorant mis-informed statements that nobody can back up down to size and actually challenge everyone rather than just let the wind blow. Absolutely vital prescence to help the site move forward, and just the baddest of the bad, the illist of the ill, the funkiest of the fresh, slammin' dudes like shaquille..... okay time to stop. But anyways Lethal, ive just always wanted to say this:

This matchup is impossible for me. It's taken me a while, but lethal gets my vote, if nothing else, for how he handled the situation with Swede towards the end, and the elegance with which he left compared to others. Which isn't to say Brandon's return wasn't triumphant, but lethal set an example. Love you both to bits though.

In all seriousness though, both were major reasons why I stuck around here in the first place.

But in the end, I got to give the vote to lethal because his knowledge of music and his charts have been a beacon to me and my developing taste.

Brandon is fantastic and fun though, and he is just a little sunshine. 😄
