All I can guess is that the internet settings also effect some operating system parameters otherwise Firefox 3.6.10 should have worked but neither firefox nor ie8 or ie9 worked until I did the reset.

Fixed it on my PC by reseting Internet Explorer's settings to their default condition (look at the final choice under Internet Options>Advanced).

Also works fine using both Firefox v.3.6.9 and IE8 with Windows 7.

Yes it is definitely something on my computer. I now have to login to my hotmail account too even when remember me is checked.

This site looks like it is compatible with ie9 too.

it sounds like there's something on your PC deleting the cookies e.g. an over-enthusiastic virus scanner. Nothing has changed here with this part of the site. I've tried to repro the problem using the following steps:

log in to BEA with 'remember me' checked
close the BEA tab on your browser
close your browser
re-open your browser
go to BEA
you should still be logged-in

if anybody else wants to try this and let me know if they get a problem....

The error is browser neutral. Doesn't remember me or keep me logged in on Firefox either.

if it's beng deleted, it could be the same as this problem with IE8. IMHO, Firefox is a better browser...

No, It is not there.

it sounds very much like the cookie is being deleted. I can't think it would be blocked after doing what you've done.

Yes that is what I did:
1. Set the slider to "Medium."
3. Enter "besteveralbums.com" in the "Address of the website:" input.

Unfortunately it didn't work. Somehow I am loged out and not automatically logged in.

Well adding besteveralbums.com to my safe list didn't help. I still get logged out.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials but cannot find any way to change the way it handles cookies. IE8 is set at default settings and this site is listed as safe and to allow cookies.

Any other ideas?

Added the domain to my safe sites, hopefully this will help. All security settings are at default levels.
