As much as I enjoy either album, it doesn't actually make too much of a difference which one was nominated.

Unwound is brilliant and, as much as I enjoy Third Ear Band, I would pretty much pick Unwound against a large amount of nominations.

Unwound are brilliant, probably my second favourite band that I discovered during my post-hardcore binge, only behind Fugazi (btw that chart is coming very very soon). Repetition is my favourite of theirs, also their most "bass-heavy" album + with possibly their best song of all, Lady Elect.

Haven't heard Third Ear Band yet.

Few days ago I would have disagreed, but man relistening to Leaves Turn Inside You the other day was something special. That album is phenomenal.

Really embarrassed. I'd rate both "good, not great" probably, although it was only my first listening to Repetition.

I'll listen again before I vote if I have the time. Slight edge for Elements right now.

Awesome, a match-up where I'd heard both albums before the tourney started. Anyways, both are really good albums, but I think prefer Repetition. Unwound were always one of the best post-hardcore sort of bands to me, New Plastic Ideas is also a great one from them.
