eazy and cube have awesome voices, easy from what i remember isn't as creative as cube but creativity isn't really cube's strong point either

cube can display great intensity

Rapping is an artform graded on a multi-dimensional subjective scale, albeit with some nods towards objectivity (I can safely state that Andre 3000 is a more capable rapper than Soulja Boy, just like I can state that Richard Thompson is a more capable guitarist than Daniel Johnston, though whether capability is synonymous with quality - or even if it deserves to be taken into account at all - is up to the person doing the judging). Personality is one of the many traits that the best rappers have in abundance, something that sets them apart from their peers and allows their music to become more relatable through having built a richer, more believable character (a lack of which is what stops highly capable rappers such as Joe Budden or Ras Kass from being great rappers, in my opinion). If somebody were to say that they prefer Eazy-E to Ice Cube, I'd have no qualms with that, as it's a totally valid opinion to have. If somebody were to call Eazy-E a "better rapper" than Ice Cube, I'd be highly skeptical, but would concede that what I might think makes a great rapper isn't necessarily what everybody else thinks makes a great rapper. But still, I'd be skeptical, largely because it's so readily apparent how much better Ice Cube is than Eazy-E at rapping.

If someone told me I should prefer Eddie Van Halen's guitar work to George Harrison's, I would tell them to fuck off. Preference by perceived "quality" is such a soulless way to approach music.

Ice Cube just happens to be the most interesting and fun of the three (for me anyway). I didn't pick him because of his technical ability, I picked him because I like him more.

Oh yeah, Van Halen sucks.
