Actually I don't know if it's one album per artist, it just seemed logical as it's the case so far... and nominating Nas is another fail in this case 🤣

It really is a special album, and I'd LOVE for people to hear it. Way ahead of its time, and it's a shame it's out of circulation. I felt like it could become the Cross Paths of this tourney. (i.e. the little unknown album that could)

1) Saw this rebuttal coming. This is why I hate genres. No one can agree. 🙄 I didn't want to call it hip-hop either so I guess I agree with you but I just use the labels I've heard from other people (alternative hip-hop in this case) because I can't be assed to do my own taxonomy.

2) Can't say I didn't see that coming either. I guess I don't think I'm right though so I can't really argue.
