Yes, that will be why actually. That was the reason they gave the albums away in the first place when I think about it, because they had those issues preventing them getting the albums on iTunes. I just plain forgot. Yeah seems crazy that Paul's boutique is on though.

Strange that De La Soul are not on Spotify when they actually gave fans the chance to download their back catalogue for free not long back.

I hate Spotify, it slows my already dying computer to a halt, but I'll work on a list of songs I think of as being essential (starting with Suga Free's 'Doe Doe and a Skunk') and post them here. Until then, here is a fairly accurate - if somewhat outdated - list of my 100 favourite hip-hop songs, with YouTube links. Peace.

TY I just couldn't get the web player to load most of the time ... lucked out that it worked tonight.

Also I was about to say I'm done for now too then realized we have 0 songs from DOOM's solo career unless you count the collabs I posted with Gorillaz, Ghostface, and Vast Ayre (which I don't).

This might be me being a little stupid, but how do you get this to open in the actual desktop app as opposed to the web player?

Also just so you know on your listening log, Rawhyde is by Jeremiah Jae and Oliver the 2nd, and Square is by Buck 65. Somehow those got weirdly jumbled together.

Hello guys, I had this idea to work together in order to create a playlist of quality hip hop to share with the rest of our fellow BEA members. Others I discussed this idea with seem to be interested, so I figured it's worth a shot!

It's meant to give you a taste of some of the best hip hop albums out there. If you like what you hear, you can explore more from that album/artist/etc.

I will be using Spotify because it's the closest thing we'll find to a perfect platform. Until I design/program the next best thing *wink wink*

It IS a collaborative playlist but since I am the owner of it, I reserve the right to remove anything that I deem is not necessary.

I've encouraged the people that have nominated specific albums in the "Best Ever Hip-Hop Nominations" thread to choose a song from their selections. Their choice will trump your's as it's only fair.
