Eh, their last two (imo) range from mediocre to awful for me.

Viva La Vida is fantastic, easily my favorite just ahead of Rush of Blood.

I'll will, however, make the bold (is it?) statement that none of these albums are bad albums. I've enjoyed every one of these albums.

Rush Of Blood is awesome, but I really do enjoy Ghost Stories quite a bit. I'm not sure why it's been received so poorly.

I've heard the supposed "best three", and out of these their debut was by far my favorite, a solid album actually. I remember disliking Viva, and being indifferent to Rush. I might listen to X&Y someday, but atm I'm OK without it in my life.

Viva La Vida, hands down. Talk about experimental. I mean, putting a piano ballad at the end of a song doesn't make it "experimental," but willing to go all over the place, and try out a bunch of ideas. Not only that, but it's just gorgeous. I used to like A Rush of Blood to the Head, but it might be one of my lesser favorites now.

Viva La Vida is unfucking believable. Parachutes is probably my second and Rush of Blood third, the rest aren't bad but those three are miles ahead of them.

Parachutes is the only album that does anything for me. I liked Rush of Blood to the Head when it was first released, but it's pretty boring to me now.

There is a huge gap between "A Rush of Blood to the Head", "Parachutes" and "Viva la Vida" in terms of quality albums compared to the rest of their discography. By huge, I mean the rest of their albums, specially their last two are unbearable.

That said "A Rush of Blood to the Head" is my favorite album, it was the first album I actually went to a record store to buy, and is one of my all time favorite albums. I mean it has "Warning Sign" in there.

Viva La Vida. I like the arrangements a lot more than other records of theirs. Honestly, I think it's my favorite of their discography I've heard.

I think the Rush of Blood era was definitely their best. Even their B-sides were great... I Ran Away is such an awesome song
