The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway by Genesis on the same titled album is just amazing.

Somehow it reminds of Stereotypes by Blur on their Great Escape album, it is also a very strong opening I think.

She has funny cars by the Jefferson Airplane is a very trippy, colourful, mysterious opening on the Surrealistic Pillow album, it's great.

I know its not only 1 song, but The Joshua Tree has "Where The Streets have no Name", "I Still haven't found what im Looking for", and "With or Without you" on the row. I can't possibly choose any opening over that one.

For a single song, I think that Smells Like Teen Spirit makes you want to explore the whole album in the right moment that the riff becomes heavy and distorted.
