Adam West <3 He remains to this day my favourite Batman, the very first episode where he walks into a bar, dressed as Batman (While Robin waits in the batmobile as he's underage), orders an orange juice 'Batman Special' and then precedes to dance with a woman who hits on him is probably one of, if not my all time favourite TV scenes.

In Iron Man 3, (early on in the film, so I hope this isn't a spoiler), a bunch of helicopters are attacking his house. So Iron Man destroys one of the helicopters by... wait for it... throwing a piano at it. You get that? He took out a helicopter with a freakin' piano. 11 bucks is a small price to pay for that kind of awesome.

Kick-Ass was great. 2, not so much, which was disappointing.

As for Sharknado, it's just so ludicrous that it's brilliant, that whole Syfy channel has an amazing list of those type of movies actually(Mega Shark Vs. Crocosaurus, Sharktopus, Piranahaconda to name a few).

To be honest, I'm more hyped for Hobbit 3 than anything. I don't expect anything big from Hobbit 3 since 1 and 2 can't compare to the LOTR trilogy, but I'm eager to see where the take it. Heck, my whole family is.

Haha! I know that, Suede. Sharknado fits the "soooo bad it's good" mold & can become awesome fun especially with the right company & chemicals. I love campy, schlocky movies when I'm in the mood for them. This looks like it was intentionally made to feed that side of my brain.

Yeah nothing about "The Avengers" came across as witty, mostly just the usual catch-phrase seeking dialogue, I think we're thinking of Joss Whedon's earlier work.

I guess I really don't have a problem with these comic book movies by themselves, I think the problem is both they have been done to death, ressurected and then beaten to death again. I mean, the few Ive seen the past few years gave me exactly what I was expecting. I usually just feel like I wasted time and money on something I could've just caught on cable nursing a hungover. It would be okay if there weren't fifteen of them each summer. I guess I just wish there wasn't such a franchise mentality these days, and that kind of ruins these movie's potential for surprise cause they all have a noticeable brand-name carefulness to them. I just wish there was more time and money spent on something potentially innovative and riskier... but going that route I might as well wish for world peace, the end of hunger and for Squishy's aim to get better.

Let me clarify that superhero films are my least favourite movie genre, and I've never been into Marvel or DC comics. Feel free to discredit my opinions on that basis.

That said, I think The Avengers is a terrible movie in ways that it didn't need to be terrible. Loki was a shit villain. He wasn't entertaining and he wasn't intimidating. Most of the fight scenes were inconsequential and didn't feel like there was anything at stake. When it first came out, I thought it would be the moment when the veil was lifted and everyone would see Joss Whedon as a hack, but it somehow made him even more popular. Probably the biggest issue is tonal inconsistency. It tries to be a tongue-in-cheek comedy as well as a gripping melodrama, so it fails at both. Tony Stark is constantly pointing out how stupid the concept of the movie is, how stupid the characters look, etc. I agree with all of those things, but it's probably not a great idea to draw attention to those things if the audience is supposed to be invested in the drama, right? Tell me Joss Whedon, are you taking the drama seriously or not? Choose a side you sarcastic fence-sitting bastard.
