That would be a great idea, just queue up can, beach boys, damon albarn, and anco in whatever order, I don't usually want to participate in all of them, so knowing when they are going to happen would be very nice, so I can prep my rankings for the ones i am going to participate in

bit late to the party on this one but I'd love to see a John Fahey ranking. Of the ones available I'm torn between Prince and Can...

I've yet to directly participate in any of these but I've enjoyed watching from the sidelines immensely

So, would Blur/Damon Albarn include everything Albarn's done? Like Gorillaz, The Good The Bad & The Queen, his opera, and Mali Music?

If so, I think this would be the most interesting. I wouldn't even care about the Blur stuff. Albarn's post-Blur discography is the most interesting (or at least varied) of any discography here.

Just in case there was any confusion with my post this morning, I'm happy doing anything. I actually prefer indie rock. LOL. I was just trying to think of a way to promote discussion.

All of the options sound good to me! 😁

My two favorite bands since my teens have been The Cure & Black Sabbath so maybe I'll vote for one of those further down the line.

Great job, Cuba! And honestly, do it however the hell you want. I think most of us were just chipping in our two cents and not bitching in the slightest. I see nothing wrong with throwing ideas into the ring from time to time.

Why does it matter which artists are chosen,if you don't the ones that Cuba chooses you can always disuss the ones you like on the musical random/recommendations thread or create a new one.

As for all the bitching about lack of variety? I think we have to understand that Cuba has most of the time been trying to do artists that will get a lot of user participation - what's the fun in 1 or 2 people voting on a thread? Anyway this is consistently one of my favourite things on BEA, cheers Cuba.

I think the gist of all of this is that there should be more of a user collaboration when it comes to choosing nominations and while I am trying to get some sort of user representation, I think it would be better if we left it open to voting. Just made a poll for what should be next out of all of the options that had three or more nominations.
