I finally achieved Supreme Khan in Civ V after a few hours of efforts... I think I might finally have my strategy down to take out 8 civs in 100 turns (maintaining happiness and trying not to have everyone declare war you while also taking out 33 cities vs the 26 I just did (Supreme Khan is on Emperor difficulty, while the final go would be on Deity).

Japan was by far the hardest because it is a WELL defended island. Loose a lot of units on it whereas the rest I lost none.

Favorite Video Games:

1. Civilization series... been hooked since 1991 (I was like 8 years old).
2. Mafia series. Mafia II was fantastic and very excited for III... of course the music in the game play no role... hehe
3. CivCity Rome... building/defending your Roman city... very fun
4. Skyrim... I've probably played over 300 hours and still feel like I'm only have way done (both good and bad)
5. Fallout Series
6. Arkham Batman series
7. Bioshock I and Infinite... didn't play II or III as it felt like I all over again and not terribly interesting
8. Ark: Survival Evolved... I like dinosaurs.
9. GTA/Sleeping Dogs... they are basically the same game. And I only kind of like these.
10. Portal... this probably deserves to be like at 6... but I too lazy to fix.

yeah I did that before except I saved over what was ostensibly a crappy alt-character. But he was fun, he was styled as a ninja and could like leap over buildings with a single bound and all that. Acrobatics = best skill.

i very rarely play games, but i have a ps3 for blu rays and netflix and such, and with the ps4 being out for as long as it has been, ps3 games are really cheap, so i bought the Kingdom Hearts remakes a couple days ago. excited to get started on them. at the moment, i've been enjoying the free demo for FFXIV. does anyone else here play it?

Until Dawn (obviously), Shadowrun: Hong Kong, Soma, Might & Magic: Heroes VII, Tales of Zestiria are all worth mentioning.

Pokémon XY and ORAS for the 3DS are surprisingly amazing. I know I'm majorly late to the party with these but I only recently purchased my 3DS so I'm playing catch-up.

Every time I play a Pokémon game, I question whether I'll find the formula stale but it has yet to happen for me.

JMan, go and finish The Wind Waker, you won't regret it (Besides sailing which gets pretty tedious...).

Anyway, I have a definitive 3 games I rate above all others, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Resident Evil 4 and Spyro The Dragon 2, to me all 3 are perfect, I'm pretty sure I have the story and levels of all 3 ingrained in my head permanently...

Number 4, actually. I added Sonic 2 and Tomb Raider above it, and I'm still not done. And you know how I order my charts, not that I'll got through explaining it again. Besides, I like playing the old levels of that game more than I like the temples. I've restarted that game a lot as a kid for the fun of it. I would gather the stones, butnot want to continue because I had a lot of fun gathering the stones. I didn't have to beat it, because I was already having a blast as a kid. Besides, I know the story.

If you want my actual favorites, I'll do a short list later.

I mean I get it that there's two kinds of games, the ones meant for replaying (such as pacman, MOBAs, most fighting games, most shooters) and others meant more as a story (Bioshocks, Dead Space, Zeldas, etc) with a bunch jumbled in between. Also, it's unrealistic to expect someone to have all the achievements 100% to finally be able to decide whether you like a game. However, come on, dude, you surely realize why people expect you to have beaten the main story of a fairly linear game before dropping it on the second spot of your list.
