I've been lazy and don't know where to put that Tetreault but it's really good stuff. And then there's stuff like bodyguard which I'll probably put on a year list eventually but it's fun to see rated so highly. What I've been enjoying most from his lists tho is in my own search for building up my 80's knowledge, I'll find something from Maurizio or Giancarlo Toniutti and then I find out he's already added them. So that I appreciate most of all because adding stuff is such a hassle, so that's what got my vote.

Yeah. I think it's definitely intriguing, and a great presence to have. I guess I was just wondering how to praise one's taste without having a clue what 75-90% of the records sound like. Definitely very similar tastes to Satie and The Poe. 1 star each for Paris 1919 and Heaven or Las Vegas are like daggers to my heart though.

Well it is cool for a user to have so many albums only on their chart and a few others. It is a plus on BEA as it means more album finds.

SamuelPear is a lovely user who makes a lot of sense. Chart comments have been my favorite in past.

Definitely Exit Sense here. SamPear seems nice enough, but Exit's taste is just immaculate.

I think the Poe once said that his tastes were heavily influenced by backyardgypsy, who I guess is the same as Exit Sense. Anyway, I love users with unique tastes, so Exit Sense is great to have around.

However, I actually have interacted somewhat with SamuelPear a bit on the forums and he seemed like a cool, level-headed guy, so I'll vote for him.

Ok, Exit Sense = influential charts of experimental gems which I'll have to check out at some point.

what's the back story on Samuel Pear? I've been here almost a year & don't think I've ever heard him mentioned once unlike legends such as Geevy & Poe.

Exit Sense (or backyardgypsy) has the most immaculate taste, and his influence on BEA for experimental music, though only a small influence, is huge. He's also a very cool guy and I've never seen him compose himself in a condescending or elitist manner, despite being an "avant" user. Don't know much about SamuelPear.
