I'm Colombian/American, and it's nice to see Vives get some recognition here, he was and continues to be a powerful force in Latin American music in general, and although I'm ashamed to say I brushed him off in my early teens in disregard for anything that wasn't classic rock, I've come around to really enjoying his music.

I would have posted about Joe Arroyo, Colombia's first international star, but he was known for his singles and not his albums.

Most definitely, they're great, it's a pity how nobody seems to pay attention to Cathal Coughlan's stuff (Fatima Mansions, Microdisney and a few other things) around Ireland, whereas U2 get a ton of unnecessary love here.
