Before y'all pick your top movies of the 2000s, you really need to watch My Winnipeg, which is undoubtedly the best movie of the decade. Also, Dogtooth and Enter the Void deserve serious attention.

Nah, Black Swan was excellent. Well acted, beautifully shot, mind-warpingly dark, just a disturbingly WELL DONE depiction of creeping insanity. So yeah, just wanted to remind y'all that Muslim Bigfoot is wrong

I'd like to leave just a reminder here that Black Swan is one of the shittiest movies I've ever seen; the blatant attempts at blowing up the movie with symbolism reduces it into a horrendous allegory and allegory is the worst from of narrative simply because it's the opposite of what narratives should achieve: particularity, subtlety and intricacy.

I donno I think it's good to just go down the line. As we get past the new century, or the 90s, the lists will probably get a bit shorter.
