These are all very accessible albums except maybe TV&N which I found boring on the first listen. To this day I still have to skip some songs in order not to get bored. Other than that, I guess you have to feel kinda emo in order to resonate with Radiohead's music to the fullest.

The stereotype you speak of would have to be ignorant enough to think that there's such a thing as "real music", but experienced enough to develop that conceit, so my guess is that he'd be listening to some mainstream post-punk off-shoot. For example,

This is how I'd personally describe the top 10:

OK Computer - The digital age has numbed your senses so much that your twisted imagination is more exciting than the world itself.

Dark Side of the Moon - There's no point in pursuing anything in this corrupted world, so you may as well get high all day.

Revolver - You love the Beatles' entire catalogue, both the old and the new.

Abbey Road - Your universe is desperate and dreary, but there's occasionally that ray of optimism that allows you to enjoy the finer things in life.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - All you wanna do is have some fun. And you got a feeling you're not the only one.

Kid A - As if you weren't already disillusioned enough by OK Computer, now you're practically living in an alternate, artificial dimension simultaneously with the real world.

Nevermind - You've going through quite the shot of puberty, anxious to see the beauty of the world, but helplessly repressed by the shallow ignoramuses who try to control you. It all overwhelms your head so badly that you have a panic attack by the end of the day.

Led Zeppelin IV - As a hardcore fan of LOTR, you believe that everything about life is epic in some sort of way.

Funeral - Life is spiteful, and since the only joy you get out of it is through expression, you try to think everything at once.

The Velvet Underground & Nico - Life is pleasant, until you realize just how strange it is. Once again, your mind gets so overloaded that you end the day with a panic attack.

Didn't notice TVU&N made the top ten. Happy about that.
Anyway..

Ok Computer -> At times alienating, at times creepy, but many songs keep a light brit-pop vibe anyway.
The Dark Side -> Gilmour's and Wright's work make it sensual and evocative, while Waters adds an occasionally epic vibe.
Revolver -> Very 60s, and has a positive mood overall.
Abbey Road -> Same as Revolver, but here more grand and symphonic.
Sgt. Pepper -> Same as Revolver, but with some psychedelic elements.
Kid A -> Evocative and somehow dreamy, maybe also relaxing overall but not reassuring at all.
Nevermind -> A sort of anger, but it's only touched here.
Led Zeppelin IV -> For when you are in a pub with a good beer, talking with friends about Lord of the Rings and night clubs.
TVU&N -> Going into the suburbs of New York.

Very new to this site (joined today).

Planning on giving the top 10 on this website a listen to kick things off, each all of the way through. I have already listened to a few (Kid A, Nevermind etc.) but still willing to listen again.

Just wondering what the best mood/feel would be best to listen to each, like what kind of vibes can i find myself enjoying each album to it's maximum potential.

I appreciate music and its enjoyability is completely subjective but outsider input would be interesting and helpful.
