i cannot understand what everyone loves about that fka twigs album. it's like that james blake debut all over again but even worse (who thought that was even possible). the war on drugs album while admittedly pretty average + middling can at least be listened to without cringing

This whole category has seemed arbitrary to me. Overrated in what sense? And what is even the point of it?

Meh, just glad LP1 or Benji didn't "win" this one.

Thank you BEA for not letting RTJ win. Also it's sad how 2014 had so much great music and new things happening but on BEA the #1 album is a lame americana arena rock throwback and #2 is an asshole mumbling on a guitar and how these are two of the most acclaimed albums of last year.

I like, hell, even love this album, but I can't help but agree. Vinylmeplease ranked it as one of the 30 or so best albums ever made. Like, really?
