Pink Floyd, Sonic Youth - 15
Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles - 11
Weezer - 10
Foo Fighters, Muse, Blur, Radiohead - 9
Nine Inch Nails, Led Zeppelin - 8
That's just the amount of albums of each that I've listened to. But based on just who I listen to the most, that changes all the time. It used to definitely be Muse, but right now it's probably Radiohead, The Beatles, Animal Collective, Tame Impala, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Queens of the Stone Age.

My newest entry is late beautiful precious Billy Joe Royal. I have what may be every song from him that was placed on a CD plus three of his albums on records and three of his 45 records too.

It would probably be either B.B King or Johnny Cash...simply because their discographies are huge and I've heard most of them. Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones and Motorhead would a have to be up there as well.

not gonna quantify, as all my online profiles for cataloging are seriously backed up or shut down. the artists to have stuck with me and received consistent appreciation since the beginning of being really into music around 14 are the Velvet Underground, Beach Boys, and Animal Collective. i've heard every album from Frank Zappa, David Bowie, and The Flaming Lips, though i don't listen to any of them anymore. newer things i do listen to include (nearly?) everything A. G. Cook has worked on under any pseudonym, as well as Elysia Crampton. working currently on Sean Bowie, James Ferraro, and Why Be in that realm. within the next couple of months when i finish a 51CD Hermann Nitsch box set and a 30CD Hijokaidan box set, they might count as my most listened by quantity of unique material sampled.

If we're basing on how many albums heard by an artist:
Dylan, Waits, Eno, Kozelek (including SKM + RHP), Cave (including Birthday Party), The Residents all have really extensive discogs, and I've heard all of their studio albums (except a couple Residents records) so it's likely them.

According to Last.fm (which I've stopped scrobbling to), my top 5 artists for the past year are:
Slim Cessna's Auto Club
Nina Simone
Bill Fay
Of Montreal
Pink Floyd

That's a pretty good representation but doesn't account for vinyl plays and all the plays that haven't been scrobbled (or whatever)

I've probably heard over 40 Bob Dylan albums. Nobody else comes close. Grateful Dead are probably next with 25-30. Maybe 20 Neil Young albums. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are at like 18 now. This is all assuming live albums and compilations count. David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Queen and the Rolling Stones probably have around 15 each. Tom Waits, The Beatles, the Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Brian Eno, Joni Mitchell and Nina Simone are also all at at least 10 or more, just off the top of my head. Probably forgot a couple but that sounds pretty close.

No idea of how many times I've listened to a certain artist, as I do a fair bit on my iPod and that doesn't record how many times I listen to a particular album as opposed to a singular song from that album.
