First thing I remember becoming obsessed with were 45's of The Turtles Happy Together and Mungo Jerry's In the Summertime

First thing I remember buying was Rod Stewart Unplugged which years later lead to getting some Tim Hardin albums because he wrote Reason to Believe

My first album was given to me by my uncle because he was the drummer in the band. it was thousand foot krutch - phenomenon.

The first album i bought was..... I think it was Daft Punk's Discovery but i'm not sure.

My first album was Thriller.

The first one I bought, I think, was The Birds, The Bees, and The Monkees.

I guess the artists on each are pretty easy to figure out.

I had a pretty big soundtrack phase when I was younger. From memory, the first on I bought was probably the first Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack.

Yeah, i agree that Nirvana deserves it's place here on BEA. Nevermind is still one of my favorites, even after all these years. As for Dookie, well let's just say it stays buried in the bottom drawer of my nightstand, beneath my viles of cocaine and women's undergarments.

My mom gave me Sheryl Crow's Tuesday Night Music Club and Ace of Base's The Sign with my first CD player in Christmas 1993.

I politely thanked her and then ran out to my local music store and bought In Utero. Original, I know.
