In regard to the poll, I prefer listening to the album as a whole. I find that to be a more enjoyable experience.
However, I have on occsaion bought the lead single from an album, and nothing else.

As for top ten songs right now, it would go about like this:

My 10 will surprise people but I'm just being honest.

This is my all time favorite song and has been for decades. It's a very old Russian song written in Russian and called Dorogoi dlinnoyu. It was then done with English words. It was many years after I first heard this song that I found out that Paul Mccartney produced this version by Mary Hopkin.
