Also have top 100 albums of BEA (that are available on Spotify). I updated this since I last made it. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and now the Beatles have since been added to Spotify since I joined BEA. I even created a facebook group to petition for it, haha.

Small chance I screwed this one up, but it's a start for you to copy and add what you want to it.

Since I went one by one and added them, I was able to actually think about this list a little more.

First off: Damn you Brits!!! hahaha, just kidding, love me brothers on the other side of the pond... but seriously... Oasis and Bittersweet Symphony over ANY R.E.M. or U2 song (bands I really like). And of course a billion Smiths songs. I mean the Smiths at least deserve a couple... but OASIS!!!! hahaha... mostly kidding, but secretly want to delete all the accounts that has Oasis in their lists. This of course is my opinion.

Secondly and more seriously:
Was a bit surprised by some artists' technically topped ranked songs. Riders on the storm for example on the Doors. Good song, but their best, meh. Also Eminem with Stan as his best song. There's other's but I'll let you see/hear for yourself.

Also found it interesting that Nirvana is ranked higher than Smashing Pumpkins, yet SP has more songs in the top 200.

Plus somehow Free Bird made it to the top 200... hahaha.

Also need to listen to Slowdive... never heard of em.

I might update all ya'lls when I finish it to 1000...

Oh also awesome was the list wasn't complete old white man dad rock...

It also confirmed my guess that most of what would be on there is the late 60s early 70s big bands and then alternative rock music of the late 80s/early 90s.

as music, it doesn't get enough credit. there's actually a lot of interesting things going on in that track (far more interesting than no surprises and electioneering). it's also probably the first evidence of thom's obsession with boards of canada.

Oh... thanks for reminding me. I actually really dig that stuff and totally forgot about it and had to go re-listen to remember it was even there... memory was just the computer voice 🙁 .

That'd be rad if someone created a playlist on Spotify from the top 1000 or something.

Better yet, I wish the databases of Spotify and BEA combined so nobody would have to create a spotify playlist from BEA material, it'd just be a plugin or something.

Maybe I will create the list anyway.

Never heard of this until now. Looked it up on YouTube. It's a good song; almost as good as "A Day in the Life." Top 10 for sure.
