Anyways, there are 20 spaces for poll options, why were like four albums considered and then everything else is subjagated to "other"? But yes EVOL is the best and Shadow of a Doubt is one of the greatest thing ever done by human beings.

Daydream Narion is one of my personal favorites of all time while Sister and Dirty follow closely; nearly all the others are of course very good as well.

I don't think the ranking should be a surprise for a masterpiece like that. But of course this Comes from a fan.

Daydream Nation is easily the best, and I'm sure almost everyone will vote for it, but they do have other good albums:
1. Daydream Nation
2. Goo
3. Dirty
4. Sister
5. EVOL

Same goes for most double / Triple / whatever albums they're just so much easier and enjoyable to absorb on vinyl.

Anyway, I'm boring and think Daydream Nation is the undeniable masterpiece in Sonic Youth's stellar discography.

Daydream Nation, though I'm not terribly infatuated with any of them. I enjoy it whenever it's on, but I never find myself actively wanting to listen to it.

Had to go Daydream Nation, but if it had been an option I might have gone with Rather Ripped. Incinerate is my favorite SY song and the guitar tones on that album are just beautiful.

Weirdly if I made a list of my 5 favorite songs none of them would be on Daydream Nation, but that album is somehow both the most cohesive and sprawling thing they've done.
