My list would read a lot like yours but without Missing Persons and replacing the heavy/metal (DIO, Ozzy, Motley,...) with prog (Gentle Giant, Triumvirat, Aphrodite's Chhild).

I was hoping this thread was about ownership. Maybe I'm weird, but I can't see listening to an album, rating it, and not owning it. Just doesn't work for me.
Also...just curious. Why does it seem like almost everyone has the Collection section on this site marked private?
Anyway...the complete studio album discographies I own...not a lot. But I have a lot of albums.

The Beatles
Drive By Truckers
Son Volt

1. Frances The Mute 100/100 (18# in my chart, a masterpiece!)
2. De-loused in the Comatorium 80/100
5. Octahedron 65/100

my Complete discography’s (Studio albums)

The Doors
The Doors (1967)
Strange Days (1967)
Waiting For The Sun (1968)
The Soft Parade (1969)
Morrison Hotel (1970)
L.A. Woman (1971)

The Eagles
The Eagles (1972)
Desperado (1973)
On The Border (1974)
One Of These Nights (1975)
Hotel California (1976)
The Long Run (1979)
7th album? it does not exist in my mind

Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin (1969)
Led Zeppelin II (1969)
Led Zeppelin III (1970)
Led Zeppelin IV (1971)
Houses Of The Holy (1973)
Physical Graffiti (1975)
Presence (1976)
In Through The Out Door (1979)
Coda (1982)

Van Halen (david lee roth)
Van Halen (1978)
Van Halen II (1979)
Women And Children First (1980)
Fair Warning (1981)
Diver Down (1982)
1984 (1984)

Lot of good music between those 4 bands. I'm not real big on the VanHagar albums but they still had some great moments but not as many as with Roth. As far as the Eagles, they are not very popular on BEA but I used to play the Hell out of Hotel California when it came out. I always thought the Long Run album was underrated as far as Eagles albums go.

But IMO Led Zeppelin stand head and shoulders above the others and most others, period.

What I was going to ask you about was the Coda album. I remember buying it when it came out mainly just to complete my Zep collection (of course I then had to buy the Firm and all of Plants solo albums) and had no expectations of it being any good. After all, Coda was only released to fulfill a contractual agreement and I had heard that the album sucked.

But, IMO Coda is pretty good. What do you think?

Also, what do you think about Robert Plants solo albums?

EDIT: I just realized that you said you wish you had never bought Coda 🫢

.

I agree about Long Run being underrated. I even think it's as good as Hotel California

I was too harsh on Coda. I listened to it the other day when you posted this and it was ok. it's not the worst album in my set, but still the worst Led Zeppelin album.

I really like Robert Plant. I haven't heard all of his albums, but I dig the two I have (Fate Of Nations and Manic Nirvana). I always thought that Zeppelin would have gone that direction if they had stayed together.

my Complete discography’s (Studio albums)

The Doors
The Doors (1967)
Strange Days (1967)
Waiting For The Sun (1968)
The Soft Parade (1969)
Morrison Hotel (1970)
L.A. Woman (1971)

The Eagles
The Eagles (1972)
Desperado (1973)
On The Border (1974)
One Of These Nights (1975)
Hotel California (1976)
The Long Run (1979)
7th album? it does not exist in my mind

Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin (1969)
Led Zeppelin II (1969)
Led Zeppelin III (1970)
Led Zeppelin IV (1971)
Houses Of The Holy (1973)
Physical Graffiti (1975)
Presence (1976)
In Through The Out Door (1979)
Coda (1982)

Van Halen (david lee roth)
Van Halen (1978)
Van Halen II (1979)
Women And Children First (1980)
Fair Warning (1981)
Diver Down (1982)
1984 (1984)

Lot of good music between those 4 bands. I'm not real big on the VanHagar albums but they still had some great moments but not as many as with Roth. As far as the Eagles, they are not very popular on BEA but I used to play the Hell out of Hotel California when it came out. I always thought the Long Run album was underrated as far as Eagles albums go.

But IMO Led Zeppelin stand head and shoulders above the others and most others, period.

What I was going to ask you about was the Coda album. I remember buying it when it came out mainly just to complete my Zep collection (of course I then had to buy the Firm and all of Plants solo albums) and had no expectations of it being any good. After all, Coda was only released to fulfill a contractual agreement and I had heard that the album sucked.

But, IMO Coda is pretty good. What do you think?

Also, what do you think about Robert Plants solo albums?

EDIT: I just realized that you said you wish you had never bought Coda 🫢
Well, The Beatles are the greatest band of all time, I own the stereo remasters and treasure every one. I love Bowie, Zeppelin, Rush, and Iron Maiden. Can't say I listen to GNR much, but they only have the 3 1/2 albums and they are all classics. Wolfmother only have 2 and I think they are a solid rock band 😎

yes it was about listening, because i don't really see the point in the purchased list. this can be another topic for the collectors.

It was just the only way to go through and find the artists where the whole discography has been listened to. Can't remember everything I have heard.
