Cats clawed loads of the spines of my vinyl years ago. I have daft punks discovery with a big slice down spine and it even jumped on the that vinyl when I was mixing and scratched bloody vinyl. My set up is pretty shit, but it is what it is. I have a couple of technics 1200/1210s in a sort of dj room (it's a cupboard) which I never use. Also an old dj deck in living room through some Sony thing that's not too great.

As it's Friday I'm all set up for the weekend. I can't have a permanent set-up as i work from home as a childminder so Mon-Fri it's Spotify or CD's only until we get our garage conversion done. Hate packing it all away early hours of Monday morning though but it's worth it and I really look forward to the weekend. Should probably get myself a real job!!! The new Dual is playing nicely so all good.

Every cat i ever had liked to sleep on amps and receivers, because theyre nice and warm. So u gotta put them in a space where there's no room for the cat to get on it. And u gotta do the same with your turntable, because they like to stop the spinning records. Even with the cover closed they still try to fuck with the record. Heh heh

Bose 2.1 for movies and live concerts.
Logitech 2.1 THX rated for the computer (over the ear Sennheiser's if I want that experience).
Sony 4 channel amp and record player for my records.
I used to have nice pair of Sennheiser headphones for on the road, but now use SkullCandy.
Pioneer something something for the car.

Those are both great setups. I have heard of Grado Headphones, but I have never got to try any out they look good. I used to work at an electronics dealer as a salesman, so I got my stuff heavily discounted. Otherwise I'd probably have two tin cans to listen to.

Pioneer PD10 K SACD player
B&W DM 601 S2 Speakers
Cambridge Audio 551P phono stage
Little Dot MKII tube headphone amp
Grado SR125e headphones

+ I've just picked up another turntable, a vintage Dual 505-2 in stunning condition...these were a much loved German built entry level turntable back in the early 80's so will be interesting to see how it performs against my modern entry level Pro-Ject deck.

Same deck as you (looking to upgrade soon though), Marantz Amp and CD player, Denon streamer, Grado 325se cans (the most expensive part of my set-up, worth every penny), Wharfdale Diamond 121 bookshelf speakers (mounted on swivel posts).

Those swivel posts are fuckin awesome. That's what i wanna get next time.
